Biography
Máté was born in 2000, in Budapest, Hungary. He received his BSc degree in Electrical Engineering from the Budapest University of Technology and Economics at the Department of Networked Systems and Services, in 2022. Afterwards, he continued his studies as a master’s student in Electrical Engineering at the same university. During this period, he worked on microwave photonics and antenna related topics. He wrote his master’s thesis with the collaboration of Silicon Laboratories Hungary Ltd. in the topic of metamaterial-based patch antennas and received his MSc degree from the Department of Broadband Infocommunications and Electromagnetic Theory, in 2024.
In May 2024 he joined the Microwave Sensing Signals & Sytems research group at TU Delft as a PhD candidate focusing on antenna measurement techniques.
