Biography
Guendalina Simoncini received her PhD formation in Industrial and Information Engineering at the University of Perugia, under the supervision of Prof. Federico Alimenti. PhD project in collaboration with Infineon Austria. During her PhD, she spent a total of one year as a visiting PhD student at Infineon Technologies (Villach, Austria) with the RFIC group of Marc Tiebout. During this period she worked on the design and measurements of RF Integrated Circuits, with a focus on integrated noise sources. She earned her PhD (cum laude) May 2023 at University of Perugia. Her thesis, Silicon Integrated Noise Built-In Test Equipments for 5G and 6G Radios earned the honorable mention as one of the best three PhD theses in Electronic Engineering by the Italian Society of Electronics (SIE) From June 2023, she was an RF Design Engineer at Picosats (Italy) where she worked as a Project Manager, as well as RF designer of telecommunication systems for satellites. Since April 2025, she is at TU Delft as post-doc in the department of Microelectronics under the supervision of Prof. Marco Spirito.
