MSc S Chioccarello

PhD student
Microwave Sensing, Signals and Systems (MS3), Department of Microelectronics

Expertise: Multi-Function Radar, Resource Management, Stochastic Optimization, Cost Function.

Biography

Stefano was born in Gavardo, Italy, in 1998. He received his BSc degree in Information and Communication Engineering from University of Trento, Italy, in 2020. He then completed his MSc degree in Control Systems Engineering at the Department of Information Engineering from University of Padua, Italy in 2022. During his master’s studies, he spent an exchange period at Université Catholique de Louvain (BE) working his master’s thesis.

In 2023 he worked as a software engineer at Lam Research, Villach, Austria in the control engineering department.

In February 2024 he joined TU Delft with the MS3 (Microwave Sensing Signals & Systems) group to pursue his Ph.D. under the supervision of prof. Hans Driessen, focusing on novel cost function formulations and algorithms for radar resource management problems.
